They are a non-profit instrumentality of government that allows Virginia & West Virginia Cities, Counties, Districts, Authorities, Schools, nonprofits, and State agencies to tap into their national contracts. On November 14, 2003, U.S. Communities awarded Little Tikes Commercial a contract for playground equipment, site furnishings, shelters, and surfacing. All of the above agencies can avoid bidding out park related equipment by using U.S. Communities competitive contracts.The bidding process has already been done for you.
U.S. Communities has an advisory board made up of government representatives from across the country, including Fairfax County, VA. Many Virginia agencies are now taking advantage of the national contracts available for a variety of goods and services. There are no user fees for participating in this program.
